Before I started on this project I’m currently working on I was fortunate enough to be asked by one of my best friends to shoot her engagement photos. Now, I’m not really the wedding / engagement photog type but it’s something I can and know how to do (and might be doing more of in the future). As for now though, I only do it for those close to me. We went downtown Chicago and shot a bunch of photos with the skyline as the backdrop but I still love simplicity. They were troopers on a chilly, and true to Chicago, windy day by the lake.
