So, this is the only time you’ll ever see an iPhone picture on this blog, but if you want to see more you can check out www.ordinarypictures.tumblr.com. This is a new blog I started as an outlet for my photography that is more of just a personal extension of life in general. I know I’m not doing anything original here, but I’ve given in. Shooting with my iPhone is fun, democratic and it frees me from the consideration I normally have when shooting film.

Ordinary Pictures will be updated whenever. Maybe many times in a day, maybe nothing for weeks.

I must give shoutouts to Kainaz Amaria and Noah Devereaux, former classmates of mine who pretty much inspired me to consider the fact that maybe these lo-res phone pictures I’ve been snapping are actually worth sharing. As someone who is geeky about quality this was a hard pill to swallow. Both have some cool work with their Iphones. Kainaz, who is on a Fulbright in India, has even been shooting for NPR with her Iphone.
