Last week I got notice that I’d be among the fortunate people who’s work will be featured in the American Photography 26 annual book. What’s even better is that it is one of my personal favorite images. This photograph was made in the early morning hours last fall in Valencia, Spain. I’ve also recently accepted a part time summer position teaching some high school students in Chicago the beginnings of digital photography, through the government college prep program Upward Bound, a part of Columbia College Chicago. This should be really exciting.
