Part of the reason I came to grad school was to be around people who were as into photography as I was, and to be inspired by them. One such guy wasn’t around last year but came back after a hiatus to join our class.
Check out Neil Ever Osborne’s portfolio … A biologist by training he’s taking conservation photography to a new level and I’m really glad to have a classmate like him. He can teach us all to look at things a bit differently because of his different perspective, especially among a group of folks so dedicated to “people” photography. Before so long he’ll have a project on manatees up that he was working on in some warm-ish waters while I was holed up in suburban churches.

Are you the Neil Osborne who’s aboard for the sea turtle trip in Baja come November?
It’s not me, but this was my friend who’s work I wanted to feature. Figuring that Neil is really into photographing sea turtles I would venture this is the same guy you are speaking of. Have a good trip with him!
