Happy Fourth of July weekend to all.
This summer I have the good fortune of being home on occasion, and am trying to look at home in a different way. A slow, calculated, deliberate and honest way. People who know me know that I am a fervent advocate of the importance of family, and maybe that’s just cuz I’m lucky to have
a good one, and a good home. I live in arguably one of the most boring, mundane and safe places in the world right now. People who know me also know that it’s the mundane in life and the everyday humor and people that I appreciate. There are those people who seem to make their living off of photos from normal, boring, every day life … yet something about it is fascinating. I’m not sure if I can uncover that through imagery yet but here are some of my personal favorite boring pictures from as of late. And at about $5 a shot I try not to mess around …
Also, my fellowship with the National Network of Forest Practitioners is underway and I’m blogging on occasion for them, shooting photos and writing a bit about sustainable forestry while traveling the Great Lakes area. Check it at out if you feel inclined.
