I’m constantly being hired to shoot indoors right now.
I feel like I’m making photos but not finding the things I used to. It’s a weird feeling, but everyone goes through phases.
Friday I had three assignments and my friends from U of Illinois were in town too, also photo people. Amelia (on the left) is going to intern for Lauren Greenfield of VII photo in LA and Josh is going to the Omaha World-Herald for a sweet internship in the summer after he graduates. Good to see kids from there doing the photo thing too. These other photos are outtakes from a concert in Chicago the other night I was assigned to shoot. Thrill Jockey Records 15th anniversary party. It was a little dark in there too, but great music.

It also snowed a bunch yesterday and my bro just got home from school, so we had to take our annual holiday photo for the Christmas cards…I made my family sit out in the cold so I could have a little fun with them …..

but it’s still been awhile since I made a photo I’m happy with ….
I hope she doesn’t mind me posting it.
