I feel like the day has just begun by the time the last glimpses of sunlight are fading over the horizon. Perhaps a break from school doesn’t provide much inspiration to catch the first half of daylight, couple with the fact that I may never be able to sleep in again this much in my life.
Either way, I have been kept busy by more freelance assignments and this somewhat sizeable video archiving project I have begun all in the name of learning Final Cut Pro. Watching nonsense footage from high school and later years over and over is enjoyable, but only to a point.
That footage may or may not be posted later. For now, here are some photos in little or bad light, simply because the sun isn’t around so much these days. Nonetheless I’m happy just to keep making a few pictures …
This last image is the coming together of many friends and family members of a three year old boy who passed away from brain cancer nearly a year ago. They were all such nice people and I really enjoyed being there and seeing what had been done in his name … a fantastic new room in the local library with amazing artwork done by a Chicago artist (pictured back right, getting a thank-you hug)
