At a festival in Circleville, Ohio today I struck up a conversation with a woman next to me. I always talk to the people standing next to me as I’m taking photos. This woman was probably mid to late 30′s, somewhere close to severely overweight, was sweating in the sun and had many errant facial hairs that contrasted with her pale skin and bright Ohio State shirt. She was telling me about her daughter’s skill in escaping a particularly challenging obstacle in the fun house in front of me. I told her I was from a place somewhere near Chicago. She had never been, but had some internet friends from the area. Then she told me she had been eyeing me for awhile, rubbed my arm, and said some other things. I wish friendly conversation wouldn’t turn that way…making your way out of those situations is no fun…
There is no photo of this place because it was film, I’m sure I will process it sometime within the next year. For now here are some feet on Mill St. near my apt.
