It’s coming to that point, where my mind is getting soaked with ideas, too soaked…to the point where I’m not sure if I can wring any of them out to some sort of discernible photographic form.
I shot all weekend, and made about 1/2 of one good picture. But I met a lot of people, and drove one of the most scenic, twisty roads in the U.S. Roads like that make my good ol’ stickshift Saab pretty damn fun to drive…Try whippin around a switchback at 50 mph in a turbo on a 65 degree day at sun down. (sun roof open!)
…stopped at the ridge of the earth and sat there for a minute. But I can’t show a photo of that, not now at least.
Here is Walter, he’s a hard working fellow in the Amesville/Stewart. I spent a total of about 12 hours with him and his son over the course of two days…not much happened, but he took a break from his work here.
There are other things going on, but it’s all in such disarray here. With any luck I’ll be getting moving on two separate (but possibly semi-related) projects in the next quarter or two here.
And Robyn if you read this I met some folks near the ridge of the earth (they live across the street) today who told me the second week in October is the best time of year to stare off…I just hope the leaves are as beautiful as they can be because of the semi-drought we had.
