Day 2: Drenched to the bone. Worst downpour they’ve seen in months. no umbrella.
Day 6: Elder, overweight, female, public urination – central park.
Days 1- present. super nice host, thank you.
Day 5: Newsweek, Getty, more publications, meeting the editors. Upstate. Unexpected but all super nice people.
Day 1: Melting on the bus, on the streets, everywhere.
Not that coming to New York is any sort of original experience, but i
t’s been interesting for myself nonetheless. Last time I came I didn’t think it was dirty. Oppressive summer heat changes things completely. The streets are a sensory overload, and smells become a bit assaulting. The rest, for now will wait.
