Kinda a gap from the last update…but if anyone checks this I’m still decent about updating my website … www.phphoto.net every day (or at least every few days) with new photos.

I’ve been in the same place for awhile, the longest in…. a long time. Was up in Milwaukee last week (the Wailers are still good without Bob), photo’d a wedding yesterday, took a few trips to downtown Chicago. … tomorrow I get outta here for a month in NYC working in James Nachtwey’s studio, then I get to go surfing and hang out with family for a little bit…then the start of grad school in Athens, OH of all places… Sorta nervous doing work for one of the most prolific war photographers out there. I’m sure it’ll be interesting to say the least. Also a bit of humor, last week I played softball with some friends and discovered that my shoulder (it used to dislocate a lot) doesn’t like it when I swing. Today I found a solution….swing the bat one handed, it worked out I went 4 for 5 with a triple. Not that we play serious defense. On a skateboard I’m usually alright, but in traditional sports you probably don’t want me on your team.

Enjoyed taking photos this past week knowing there wasn’t a limit on how many could be run, or what could be used, etc.

I should probably be packing, considering my departure in just a few hours, but I’m pretty sure I packed for 6 months in New Zealand the night before/same day I left, so it’ll work out. It’s always when something NEEDS to get done that it’s the hardest.
I’m gonna break my tradition here and post more than one photo, some from Milwaukee, Chicago, and the wedding yesterday.
