my car broke down today.
more importantly, i had to talk to a man about his recently murdered father. he wears his dad’s wedding ring around his neck.
I had to shoot a portrait of him.
my deepest sympathies to this man and his family members. I can’t even begin to imagine.

I found your blog.
THis is a very nice shot that seems appropriate for the subject matter.
You get an unsettling distance from the subject, but the warm colors of the room and couch as well as the light coming in on the left of the frame help to balance out this man’s isolation.
