Looking.

I was just trying to find an interesting photo before the local university football team started play last Saturday night. The light was warm and this guy in the media box seemed to be pining for the girl a few rooms down, at least from my point of view. I’m sure that is not the [...]

Flood.

A local school flooded today. I had a good time walking the hallways lit with a single generator-powered halogen light. It was slippery and the carpet was soaked to the concrete. The school district suits were not amused. 1,000 kids have no school for at least a few days, and I’m sure thousands in damage. [...]

empty fieldhouse.

I went back to my car after shooting a highschool football game the other night. The door was wide open to the high school’s fieldhouse, and for some reason it looked interesting to me.
My mail recently has consisted of bills for my new awesome insurance plans that I am now paying, and updates on my [...]

Art fairs are cool because you can take other people’s work and mess with it. The Naperville Fine Art Fair is actually a really good one, and I saw so many photographs on display that I wish I had taken. Dammit. I wonder how many of these people were self taught, I know some were [...]

25+.

Something a lot of people can be jealous of. 25 years and going strong.

green.

Today’s a green day. Things seem healthy, save myself…for some reason I’m in about day 26 now of less than 100% health. I’m not sure if I’m sick or allergic, I think I’m allergic…and not just to the air, whatever that means. I’ve had varying traditional and herbal remedies recommended to me, tried a few, [...]

isolate.

Some people just want to get away from the crowd.

poles.

This is another shot of nothingness that I liked the look of while waiting at a stop light. I’m in the car a lot more lately, which is a good thing, because I’m constantly going places. But never far enough…it’s been 3 months since I got back from Ecuador and I haven’t crossed a state [...]

hats.

I try to look for interesting things when I shoot football games. Usually, before the game starts, I have a solid 4 minutes of evening twilight to possibly work with some sort of subject and try to not get any sort of clutterness in the background. This Friday I might have 3 minutes of light, [...]
