A local school flooded today. I had a good time walking the hallways lit with a single generator-powered halogen light. It was slippery and the carpet was soaked to the concrete. The school district suits were not amused. 1,000 kids have no school for at least a few days, and I’m sure thousands in damage. Damn.

The mail today was nothing compared to yesterday, or any day for that matter. One of my best friends left for 3 months of orphanage work in the Phillipines this afternoon. Miss ya already Jess. I have the next two days off…I’m not sure I want days off.
