yes, I am still posting photos from Ecuador. I could probably do that for next month, but I won’t.
This is a view at about 14,000 feet….with Ecuador’s capital of Quito off in the distance. Air was a little thinner heh heh. I’m not sure why, but every time I wanted to photograph a landscape in Ecuador the light and sky was cooperating…completely opposite from my mountain experiences in Mexico.

On a political note, Champaign county is adding a socialist equality party candidate to the ballot of possible district state representatives. Hahah. Wait…he did say “It’s amazing how undemocratic the democratic party is” noting how they have given him trouble getting on previous ballots. (Hmm maybe because they are afraid he will represent more liberal thinkers in a better manner than they themselves do, therefor causing them a loss of voters?)
I personally would run screaming if we had a socialist representative, but then I’m about to run screaming after I graduate in August, leaving this corn encumbered town for good (never say never) and hey, he has every right to run…..But what I want to know is… where is my libertarian representative???
