man i just took a hot shower and slept in a real bed last night. I haven’t done either for about a month. my return trip from Ecuador involved more hours in airports than I’ve ever previously had. About 14 hours in Quito’s airport, 8 hours in Bogota, Colombia, and a solid overnight 7 hours in Miami.
It’s nice to be home, but I miss my little village. Here’s kinda what my backyard looked like. Oh the Andes are beautiful. Lots more photos to come.

Wow that’s amazing!
Beautiful… waking up to that scene every morning would at least put a little smile on my face, even after sleeping on the concrete floor!
