
I shot some simple landscapes with the 4×5.
I really have a love/hate relationship with the view camera. The big negative is so crisp and sharp, yet you can see every little screw up from your processing of it more, and it’s hard to process it perfectly, and then print it perfectly. To go from start to finish with a completely even development, and no dust or scratches is like, well hard as hell. Anyways here’s a shot.
Calumet 4×5, 210mm 1/60 at f/16 tmax100. slightly pushed in development. Printed with a #4 filter….original scene was like 2 stops dynamic range. the whole thing.
