No photos right now, busy weekend….lack of shooting, no lack of papers to write and fill out for classes and visiting countries. Shooting has to take a back seat for this week…but I just found out I got recognized in two categories at this years IPPA student photographer awards. I’m stoked.

I got 3rd place in the sports action photo category, and an honorable mention in the portrait/personality category. They just posted the results today and I couldn’t make to the convention, but I’ll post whatever photos placed when I find out which ones they were, because I submitted like 3 or 4 to each of those categories. This is the first real contest I’ve entered and I’m pretty excited to have gotten 2 recognitions, IPPA isn’t any blowoff competition either. Every student photographer who’s serious about what they do from this state enters, so yeahh…..whoooo!
