I’ve spent many hrs on this road driving back and forth from school to home. Most times I’m tempted to get out my car car and shoot some photos, but I don’t. This week I did. The colors of this image got a little smashed in compressing it to a web size but oh well.

As much as I love the ocean and the mountains for all their natural beauty, there is beauty in the nearly flat, but rolling landscapes of Illinois. I think I’m gonna try to shoot this more. I think good light can turn a flat land into a captivating landscape photograph. This means I’ll have to rise at 4 am on occasion…maybe when it gets warmer out.
