I haven’t had the opportunity to shoot any landscapes for awhile, and it’s about my favorite thing to shoot, so when my buddy asked if I wanted to go upto the roof of his 30 story condo complex in the heart of the city I was stoked. I shot some different stuff, but I only had a fisheye and a 180 mm prime with me, so I was kinda limited. I decided to try some b/w since it’s something I don’t do often, I think it works well for the shots I shot with the 180 mm, since they are based more on their composition than anything else really.
This first one is look
ing east on the lake. —^
<—- This is looking straight down over the edge. People were looking at new building going up. There is a stinky dumpster so they didn’t stay long. …and this one below is nothin special, just kinda a fun shot to show one of the 4 sides of the view from this roof.
